Steward-MacDonald Fiddle Kit This violin was built for my niece who was ready to move up to a full sized violin. As this was the second kit I had a little bit of experiance and had no trouble assembling the kit. I did change out the basswood components to ebony components. I was never very happy with the way the violin varnish cured. It turned out it was still a little soft when I shipped the violin.
